Their menu outlines a variety of interesting mouth-watering Ghanaian recipes. Dishes such as vegan fufu with almond butter soup, Coconut Dhal with white rice, vegan salad, coconut crumble and vegan Jollof rice with some vegetable accompaniments are just a few examples of the foods they serve. They also serve starters like soups and juices, vegan main course meals, vegan desserts, vegan side dishes, vegan smoothies, fresh vegan juices, cold drinks and hot drinks. Mahogarny is a popular vegetarian and vegan restaurant and doubles as an organic products shop.

They offer several food options that include vegan wraps, green salads, fruit salads, guinea beans, coconut curry, mushroom sauces, rice dishes, burgers, pasta, smoothies, soups, desserts, teas and juices. Mahorgany is ideal for breakfast and lunch dine in or you can order a takeout. 

My favorite is their baobab ice cream. I love that natural creamy taste and how it melts on the tongue perfectly. You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy their food. Sometimes I just want to try new foods and I wasn't disappointed. Many of their ingredients are sourced from local farmers as they prioritize using fresh organic ingredients as much as possible.

Simply request to see their vegan menu and select from the list of vegan options available. Strict Vegan options aren’t so many but still worth a try. Their friendly staff will be happy to recommend something you'll enjoy!

They serve vegan breakfast, lunch, sweets, coffee and teas, specifically; vegan pancakes, oats with almonds, brown rice, salads, carrot cake, green and fruit juices and smoothies... the list goes on. Eat away, foodie! You can grab a takeout meal during your busy days or choose a serene spot in the cafe to relax with a sip of “kombucha”. 

Their space is aesthetic and exudes beauty, with their colorful interior design which has a sophisticated combination of art and greenery. Plus, you can buy all types of organic and plant-based products to take home.

Find this hidden plant-based gem in Osu where captivating artistry envelops you. Their well-thought-out seating, and interior design with art and colors, create an interesting ambience that will draw you in for just a sip of tea. 

Don't miss out on their delicious continental vegan foods. Keep in mind that they serve non-vegan foods too but still a must-try for any plant-based foodie! Their space is also quite small so it can get a bit crowded sometimes. If that is something that makes you uncomfortable you can opt for a takeout instead.

I love this vegan restaurant for its creativity with its food and recipes.  If you have ever thought Ghana didn’t have great vegan options, then Vegan King will show you otherwise.  They are known as the one vegan restaurant that gives you different variety of vegan foods from across the world.

If you love the popular Middle Eastern dish savory hummus, then Vegan King is the best place to try vegan hummus which is just as creamy and well seasoned, ready to be served as a dip for vegan bread or burrito. 

You can try their vegan fried rice, mushroom sauce, tofu with chili sauce, and yummy tomato chicken peas sauce. You can also just opt for their yummy lunch box that consists of food options like rice, bean curd, and vegetables which are a few examples of their tasty meals.

This is a small family run restaurant that offers some vegetarian and vegan dishes as part of their menu options which are freshly cooked without artificial additives. Some of the meals you can find on the vegetarian and vegan side of their menu include; Miser Wat (Lentil Stew), Alicha (Split White peas or Chick Peas), shirt, mixed vegetables and Spinach/Collard Greed. 

Anytime I visit this restaurant, I don't leave until I have had a cup of their freshly roasted Ethiopian Arabica coffee or aromatic spice tea. You should try it if you love coffee or tea.

I have tried out some meals from their vegetarian and vegan menu section and I must say, they don't disappoint. You can try dishes like their spice tofu salad, mango avocado salad, crispy noodle salad, Creamy hummus topped with whole chickpeas and many more. If you love salads, you will love this restaurant.

Buka restaurant is not primarily a vegetarian or vegan restaurant but I love their Vega menu options so much I thought they deserved to be on the list. The aesthetic of this restaurant is beautiful with its modern African theme. Their Vegan options are few but trust me, after trying it, you are likely to visit there a few more times to have more of their food. Some of my favorite vegetarian and vegan dishes on their menu include Veggie beans stew, Veggie okro stew, Veggie Groundnut Soup, Veggie Kontomere, Veggie Light Soup, Veggie Kebabs and Veggie Curry.
